About Label
A label is a small sticker used to identify or explain information, often affixed to products, documents, packages, or containers. Its purpose is to help people more easily identify, categorize, or find the items they need.
According to their purpose, labels can be simply classified as follows:
| Type | Scenarios | Content Examples |
| Shipping Label | Express delivery, e-commerce shipping | Recipient address, postal code |
| Product Label | Product packaging | Brand name, ingredients, price |
| Address Label | Office and mail delivery | Name, address, phone number |
| File Label | Office documents | Document category, date, number |
| Barcode Label | Warehousing and logistics | Item number, QR code, tracking number |
As shown above, labels have a very wide range of applications. Many labels are now in PDF format and you may want to know how to easily print PDF labels.

Bnous Tip: Troubleshooting Common Printing Errors
Sometimes, printing PDF labels may result in issues such as misalignment, incorrect scaling, or unclear image quality.
Below are some of the most common printing errors and their corresponding solutions.
1. Label misalignment.
- Possible cause: The printer automatically scaled or adjusted the PDF page size.
- Solution: In Print Settings, select “Actual Size” or “100%” scaling, and check that the paper size matches the label paper (e.g., A4).
2. Incorrect label print scale.
- Possible cause: Incorrect print scaling settings. For example, the “Automatic Page Shrink” or “Automatic Page Expand” function is enabled.
- Solution: In the print options, turn off “Shrink oversized pages” and “Expand small pages”.
3. Label cropped or off-center.
- Possible cause: The printer driver automatically adjusted margins or rotated the page.
- Solution: Uncheck “Automatic Rotation and Centering”, then set the margins to 0.
4. The printer cannot feed paper.
- Possible cause: The label paper is too thick, causing feeding failure.
- Solution: When printing, feed only one label at a time. If the printer has a rear paper feed tray, it is recommended to use that tray first.
